Synthocox is a prescription-only non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing celecoxib 200 mg. It is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.

Celecoxib exerts its therapeutic effect through selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), leading to reduced prostaglandin synthesis and subsequent relief of inflammation and pain, while minimizing effects on cyclooxygenase-1.
